I was able to interview Clara Moroni back in March 2004. She's such a friendly person. I hope you enjoy it!

Nine: Thank you so much for agreeing to do this interview! First, could you please tell us who you are, and a little bit about yourself? Clara: Hi Guys, my name is Clara, I'm from Milano, Italy. I like Sushi, I like biking, I play keyboards and recently I've learned to play guitar. I own a couple of Mogolian hamsters. Nine: How did you get into the music industry, especially the industry of Eurobeat? Clara: I was the female singer of a Top 40 band and doing studio session when I met Jo Yellow. He asked me to sing over one of his first songs "Love at first sight", after then i started my collaboration with Time records on a regular base. Nine: How long have you been with Delta, and can you tell us a about the label and your position with it? Clara: Laurent Newfield, Bratt Sinclaire and me, have founded Delta in the summer of 1995. I write and sing songs, lyrics and i am a sort of label manager, in the sense that i'm looking after Delta P.R. Nine: It's very interesting when a Eurobeat singer like youself chooses to sing under different names. Some of the more well known names you've sung as are Cherry and Leslie Parrish! When you produce a Eurobeat song, what goes into it? For example, how do you decide what alias to use? Clara: Well, it is not so uncommon, have you heard the new N.E.R.D.S. album? Well, they were known as the Neptunes, but now as they produced a different sound, decided to change their name. As well as the Foo Fighters now Audioslave. If a song has a mellow touch, it's a Leslie Parrish song, if is more aggressive is a Cherry song and so on. Nine: What are your views and opinions on the Para Para scene when it comes to Eurobeat? Clara: It's cool! I like the people dancing and moving their hands together. The first time I've attended a Para para event, i was amazed by the people's energy and synchronism. Nine: If you could sing a duet with any other Eurobeat artist, who would it be and why? Clara: I love D.Essex voice. He is such a talented singer! Nine: My most favorite Eurobeat singer is Alessandra Mirka Gatti, better known as Domino! What are your opinions on her? Do you like her music? Clara: She's cool, she sings fine, she's a good looking girl. We had a lot of fun together in Japan. Nine: You've been promoting your "10worlds" album on your website, http://www.10worlds.com. Could you tell us about it? Clara: It's my new album where i'm expressing my rock side. I am about to shoot a clip of Ten worlds next week, and soon will be released in Europe. Nine: Have you ever though about what it would be like to release any of your work in North America? Do you think that your Ten Worlds album, and/or any of the Eurobeat you've created be successful here? Clara: I would love to be released in North america with my new album...I hope this will happen soon. I working on it. Nine: Your fans all around the really appreciate your dedication to your message board on the 10worlds site. Many of us feel detatched from the artists who create the music we love, because unlike mainstream music where we're bombarded with images and stories of the lives of the artists behind the music, we don't get to know anything about you. What gave you the idea to open those forums and interact with your fans? Clara: I like to be in touch with my friens/fans, I adore logging in to the forum and finding new messages, unfortunately i got so busy lately that i can't catch up with the mails...sorry guys..try to understand!
